In September 2023, started a project funded by Safer Streets Bristol – which was to create a safer and cleaner environment by reducing anti-social behaviour (ASB) and crime around the local area.

Part of Spacemakers contribution to this was to get young people to take ownership once again, for a space that had been left to its own devices for an extended period.

This was to be done by working with Hartcliffe Club for Young People, to allow young people to get involved and design the shelter at Spacemakers in a way that related to them.

The overall decision was that of outer space, to allow for a black canvas and the amazing designs and art to be added to create something truly special.
