The Spacemakers team were granted funding by Safer Streets in 2023, to launch a Graffiti Project in partnership with Hartcliffe Club for Young People (HCYP).
Thanks to Simon from HCYP, we connected with a talented graffiti artist named Duncan who has worked wonders with young people on similar projects.
We ran three exciting workshops where we'll delved into the wonders of space, learn about the project, and even try our hand at spray painting! 🎨✨
After the successful workshops, we added some vibrant graffiti to the Shelter, also known as the Lozenge, under Duncan's guidance and with Simon's assistance. Get ready for an explosion of creativity below.

Session Three: Mission Accomplished! 🎉✅ We took matters into our own hands and covered the shelter in black Hammerite paint, erasing the old graffiti and paving the way for new artistic expressions.
