The Spacemakers team were granted funding by Safer Streets in 2023, to launch a Graffiti Project in partnership with Hartcliffe Club for Young People (HCYP). Thanks to Simon from HCYP, we connected with a talented graffiti artist named Duncan who has worked wonders with young people on similar projects.

Our FIRST community event ran by Spacemakers, with Lego Legends. There have been a growing community presence around Spacemakers in the last 12 months, with various organsiations including HWCP running events regularly at Spacemakers, we have been working towards this one since our Lord Mayors award in April 2023.

Some absolutely amazing news this month, was that Shane Richardson has been awarded a Lord Mayors Medal. The Unsung Hero award is given out to those who serve the people of Bristol through voluntary and community work, or for charitable acts of work.
